HK-550 GT from Hobbyking – We asked, they delivered

Another new kid on the block from Hobbyking. We asked for it and they delivered. Many of us out there wanted something just a bit bigger and more stable than the excellent value TREX500 or HK500 (Trex Clone) and finally here it is. Whilst I will still stand by the fact that you cant better the genuine artical from Align, for many of us out there where funds are tight these days, a genuine Trex 550 is just outside of our budget. Hobbyking have launched this new HK-550 GT which is a clone of the belt drive version of the Align Trex500. Whilst there will no doubt be slight issues with tolerances like with all Align Clones, these are compatable with the genuine artical making upgrades to genuine parts a straight forward option either for peace of mind when new or as and when accidents happen. I will certainly be getting one of these soon and hopefully be able to do a review.
